Wendy Behnke

Legal Assistant

Wendy is our most experienced legal assistant having been with the firm almost since the beginning. Among her many duties are client case management, maintaining client and court calendars and handling client questions and concerns. She has a thorough understanding of the court system and procedures of family law and has developed a working rapport with court staff and other family law attorneys in the central Wisconsin area. She is mindful of the sensitive nature and confidentiality involved in family law practice and with the rest of the staff, strives for high standards of ethics and work product.

Wendy grew up on a small farm “Up North” in Price County and graduated from the very first legal secretary program at NTC. She lives in the Wausau area with her husband of 35 plus years and several very spoiled cats. She enjoys doing fancy needlework, organic cooking and baking, antiquing, and is an active participant in her husband's hobby of exhibiting and demonstrating antique farm equipment at heritage farm shows and history festivals throughout the Midwest.
